A business owner, a wife, a survivor. As a social influencer, Dez utilizes her Instagram platform to stand up for justice and advocate for prevention. Earlier this year, Dez Ramirez even helped to pass a bill by sharing her testimony. Back in April 2019, Ramirez shares:

“ I will never be ashamed of my story. Instead I have been transformed by it. We all have this ability to embrace our vulnerability and OWN our #Becoming stories. This year I made a vow to myself that I would fully commit to those who are in need and need liberation from sexual trauma and bondage. This vow has been trivial in many ways. I am only 2 years into my own recovery journey from my own sexual trauma and at times .... YES.... I do think I am in way over my head and perhaps maybe even ill prepared for this journey. But then I remember those who advocated for me when I had no one.”

Dez is known for opening up "Self-Love" workshops and spaces where she both honors and encourages survivors wherever they may be in their journeys.
